Unmissable Evening Friday 26th February 2010
 Balsam Range

Hi,
Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful evening at the Fiddlin' Pig
we were the three from England who loved Jimmy Martin and you very
kindly played several of his numbers - very, very well indeed!
It was such a coincidence because earlier in the day we had been
in Harvest Records in Asheville, bought some records and cd's and
amongst them was a Jimmy Martin cd with 'It takes one to know one'
we hadn't heard that track before and then you performed it for us
after we had spoken to several of you!!!! A memorable moment.
It was fabulous to talk with Marc about his days with Jimmy Martin.

The food was faultless!  The best ribs we had ever eaten!
and the whole ambiance of the place was something to be remembered
for the rest of our lives.  Matthew we enjoyed chatting with you
you run a top class establishment in Asheville.
We will definitely make sure we come in again on our next trip
when you are performing.

Thanks again.  Kindest regards.
Barry, Simon and Elisabeth P.

Dear Maria,

Thank you so much for the delicious meal and wonderful atmosphere that The Fiddlin' Pig
provided for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner.  We received numerous comments on the wonderful
food and service that your staff provided.  The tables for our area were set up perfectly and the food
was promptly served.  The Whitewater Bluegrass Company was great.  "Uncle Ted" was able to get
my "very shy" son on the dance floor with his fiance'.  Everone in the wedding party joined in.  Others in the resraurant were participating as well.  We had a blast!  I highly recommed The Fiddlin' Pig and The Whitewater Bluegrass Company to anyone who is planning a special night for any size group.  Thanks again for a wonderful and memorable evening of good food and good fun!
                                                                                                                 Sincerely,
                                                                                                                      Pamela H.   .

I am writing on behalf of the American Electric Power (AEP) Ohio Valley Veterans Association, which is a group of active and retired AEP employees with 20 plus years of company service.  Our organization takes an annual bus trip and this year we chose Asheville.  One of the many highlights of our trip was a dinner show at the Fiddlin’ Pig Restaurant.  Our group enjoyed the food and the excellent bluegrass music performed by the Whitewater Bluegrass Company.  We just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed your city and how nice we were treated at every stop along the way. Sincerely,

                                                                                                                              Sharon D.

Wow, what a find, Your restaurant is awesome. We totally enjoyed ourselves.  We made dinner reservation for 6:30 it was my husband's 50 th birthday. He is from the Asheville area but we live in Indian Trail, NC. I thought we were just going to have dinner and listen to some live bluegrass music, Oh my goodness I was we pleasantly surprised when the show started. Amazing to watch, and for the dancers to come around table to table to get volunteers to participate in the clogging/square dancing, well I was simply amazed at what I saw next people from all ages out there having the time of their lives. The food was excellent, our waitress Terry was awesome. We will be back soon, for now we are just spreading the message, telling all our friends and family that they have to go to your restaurant. Your restaurant was all we have talked about since we returned home.
See you Soon,
Patti and Terry C.

Hi Ya'll !! -  I just wanted to send a short note to say Thanks for the wonderful time at the Fiddlin' Pig last Saturday night.  We were there with our 11U Girl's Basketball Team from Carolina Rise.  We enjoyed the place and the music so much that I just had to write and let you know.  Our coach even got out and did a little clogging herself!  What a fun experience to be a part of.  I think the concept is a wonderful idea.  Great food and family fun!

"Matthew and Maria- We just returned home from our mission trip to the Asheville area. Our youth group (all 36 of us) had the pleasure of spending the evening with you last Wednesday. Being at the Fiddlin' Pig was a highlight for us! Our kids are still talking about it. The hospitality we received was both gracious and extravagant! It was inspirational for our kids to hear your story. We'll be spreading the word about the Fiddlin' Pig to all we know in Chicago, and to those we met in Asheville. Thank you again for everything. Blessings to you and your staff. In Christ, David Knecht"

"Matthew and Maria: Thank you so much for making our night out with Eric so meaningful. Thank you for having the band play God Bless America for him. Randy and I will never forget that evening. (Note of clarification... Eric and his mother and father came in on the day before Eric was being deployed to Germany for military service... we were so proud to have them in on such a special night that we honored him and his commitment to our country. Tim Surrett from Balsam Range sang God Bless America... believe me there were tears and Eric got a standing ovation. This is who we are at The Fiddlin' Pig... love your mother, wave the flag and bbq!)"

"While attending our company conference in Asheville, a few friends and I came to your restaurant on a free night. If it is always that much fun then I know why people want to move to Asheville! It was the highlight of our trip... the bluegrass and the cloggers were really fun and the food was excellent. I will bring my family back. "

"We had dinner at your restaurant last week after playing golf on our annual golf trip weekend. We saw the Fiddlin' Pig sign and decided to try it. Your staff made an extra effort to get our group a table, and the music was really fun. We hope you guys are successful. "

"I am in the meat business, and your ribs are the best in my sales territory. I would like to schedule an appointment to meet with you and your kitchen manager. I also have a group of friends who ride motorcycles and I would like to set up some Saturday or Sunday gatherings at your place."
